This project uses French Chateaux styling with a brick exterior on four walls and stone veneer accents. The dramatic room lines and turrets on the front create a striking front elevation. Large windows on the front and rear elevations allow for a generous amount of natural light throughout the house.
The front entrance opens up to a two-story foyer with a view through to the rear yard. One design decision was to move the main stair away from the foyer to increase the privacy for the family Both the living and dining rooms have access to a large front terrace. An open nook connects the gourmet kitchen to the large family room with a gas fireplace and 16-foot sliding glass doors, which open to the rear of the house. The sunroom extends from the kitchen and opens up to the rear yard for a beautiful open concept family living and entertaining space.
Upstairs, the large owner’s en-suite hosts a generous sized sitting room designed for privacy, as well as an en-suite bath and his/hers closets. There are 4 additional bedrooms, including the main floor guest suite, each with their own en-suite bath and walk in closet. In the basement, the family has access to a media room, rec room with wet bar & wine cooler, game room, exercise room, and den that can function as another bedroom. Some unique design features include a 2nd floor yoga room, a sauna and steam shower in the basement, and a pool shower with walk out access to the pool.
