This project was built on a site with large flood plain restrictions, which had a large impact on the location and orientation of the individual lots. The design modified right up until it was completed. At first look, the Owner is presented with a contemporary French Country exterior with board & batten, and stone accents that grace the elevations.
Entering the house, you are drawn to the grand stair acting as the central core to the first and second floors with sleek contemporary finishes. The main floor provides flexibility for daily living with an open kitchen, catering kitchen, large morning room, family room with sweeping rear wall, private library, traditional dining room, gracious guest suite and living room.
The rear of the house also features an owner’s balcony and first floor loggia off the nook. Accompanied with a full basement with game, movie, club, and exercise rooms, Walker Bend provides space for the entertainment needs that any homeowner may have. A large Owner’s Suite with gracious vaulted ceilings, three bedrooms with on suite baths, and a spacious laundry room round out the second floor.
